The STEADFAST Petersburg-Vicinity Chapter was chartered on January 15, 2008 on the campus of Virginia State University by 6 hard working group of musicians: 

• Ashley Pettis

• Tiffany Hathaway

• Travis Smith

• Will Griffin

• Mario Dent*

• Kellen Donelson

Throughout the years 4 more lines were brought into the chapter, while also helping with the chartering of the Richmond Chapter. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the chapter went inactive until Summer 2016 when 3 lovely ladies rechartered:

• Bria Nivens

• Candence McNeil

• Sham'Eya Chatman

Since 2016, the chapter has been firm and unwavering in upholding the organization's principles.
